You first need to see if these can be treated medically before you rush to surgery. Also diagnose what is causing these, so you don't get more. Also surgery depends on size and location, if you need a surgical center or office removal, but aver for office removal is $600. Also these will be sent to pathology so there will be an additional cost.

This is an expense that is covered by insurance companies. Your cost will depend on your insurance deductible. I think you'd be better off getting this done with some sedation in a surgery center.

Pain pump while functional runs risk of infection.Properly done block will afford relief up to 8 hours or could b less. If you are made aware of the pain pattern and what to expect after with pain meds before your surgery you should be fine

A well done interscalene block will nearly completely eliminate your post operative pain for 8-12 hrs. A pain pump in the subacromial space will decrease but not eliminate your pain for 2 to 3 days and is extremely safe. I recommend using both for my shoulder arthroscopy patients. If you are afraid of needles and the interscalene block then just go with the pain pump, it is simple to use and very safe.

Better go with IV pain pump, that is another possiiblity

Thank you for your question! Without looking at your chart and knowing your medical history, my personal preference is the pain pump. The block only lasts for 8-12 hours so if those are the only options your physician recommends, then that is what I would choose of the two.

Well planned and executed orthodontics is usually performed with minimal discomfort. I had orthodontic tratment with braces as an adult and although it was inconvenient regarding oral hygiene, there was minimal discomfort after adjustments and the result was worth it.
