"I just had my first visit with Dr. Shirani and he was very informative, patient, and made me feel comfortable with the entire exam. His staff is welcoming with a smile, professional, and caring. I can honestly say I haven't had the best of luck with previous dentists and Dr. Shirani was highly recommended so I made an appointment. I'm very glad I did and I'm looking forward to my next visit. It's important to have complete confidence in your dentist, if you're looking for a new dentist I highly suggest meeting Dr. Shirani and his amazing team!"

"My family and I have been under Dr. Shirani's care for years. My kids and I have grown to love and trust Dr. Shirani and his staff. He is caring and sensitive to all our dental needs and has gone beyond the call of duty to fit us into his schedule, when our schedules don't meet with his. I have very sensitive teeth and he always makes sure I am comfortable been doing any work. During the procedure, he is always checking to make sure I am okay and creates work arounds to ensure that I am pain free. I have recommended Dr. Shirani to many friends and family who now share the same trust in him, that my family has had for so many years. We love Dr. Shirani!"

"Because the manufacturer of the cap didn't create it to Dr. Shirani's standards, he sent it back. Because of the delay Dr Shirani gave me a free 2 hour bleaching for my teeth. As usual, his care and concern for my complete comfport was evident. He always puts tthe patient first, frequently asking how I was doing throughout the procedure. That evening he followed up with a personal call , which is what he always does for all his patients. I would recommend him to anyone who needs any kinfd of dental work......I've had numerous positive experiences with his office, as have my whole family over many years."

Here is a dentist review I am proud of. This dental procedure was delivered in my Antioch office. It is from "Laura G"

"I couldn't believe the care and concern for my daughter's emergency root-canal. I called for an appt., you came on the phone and said, 'come on in right now.' No waiting for weeks. She was so scared, and you took such great care of her with no pain. She is a faithful convert and will travel the 75 miles each way for you and your professional staff anytime."

Soaking Dentures | Dentist | Ali Shirani | Antioch, CAIn my time as a dentist in Antioch, I have found that many patients do not realize that there are many dental technologies available that they never knew existed. An old technology that can be replaced is the denture or false teeth. Modern dentistry now has sophisticated methods to replace one or many missing teeth that does not involved the set of dentures sitting in a glass and the end of the day.

I have been a dentist in Antioch for years and I have come across many people who would like an alternative to braces. Certain cases just need braces but in certain cases the patient has an option that can avoid them completely to get that perfect smile.

One technology to handle a crooked smile or uneven teeth is Lumineers. Lumineers are veneers that are ultra thin and are placed over the front, visible teeth to give the appearance of straighter and evenly spaced teeth. It also is a very valid... read more

Whitening Machine | Dentist | Ali Shirani | Antioch, CABelieve it or not, some time in a dentist’s chair might actually be the most convenient way to a whiter smile. Most of the over-the-counter options take weeks to work. This is because most of them use carbamide peroxide, a weak bleaching agent. The usual amount, 10%, is only equivalent to 3% hydrogen peroxide, and most over-the-counter whitening systems top out at around 22%. Your dentist, however, has access to systems that include up to 43% hydrogen peroxide, which means they can usually... read more
