"I never like going to the dentist - no matter what comforts are offered. The staff is knowlegdeable amd I feel gets the treatment done in a fair amount of time. My current issues with the practice is the fact that they are a premier provider and what that means for my Delta coveage. If I would have known from the first time I called the office that my insurance may pay at a lower benefit level because of the premier status - I would have looked for another dental practice. Now, after all the time I have put in with your office - I may need to look for another practice. I have found the practice very good with the exception of not being informed about the possibility of the decreased coverage until after, I believe was my third appt, when I was sitting with Christina after an appt, planning the next. "I always dreaded going to the Dentist because I hated the lecture that they always gave me and how they made me feel when my teeth didn't pass the test. The staff was great at my first visit. They listened to my history of dental visits, they did a thorough exam and the whole time explained what they were doing, were going to do, and then fully explained the results of the exam and went through all my options including giving me pricing options so that I could choose what would work for me! "As always Prairie Dental's waiting area was spotless. But I didn't have time to enjoy it because I went right in to my checkup. There above the chair is a TV with cable and headphones if I want with FULL REMOTE CONTROL ACCESS. But I didn't want to watch TV because the technician (I'm so sorry I forgot her name) was a delight to listen to ( I couldn't carry on much of a conversation) and she was so nice. Then Dr. Fenger came in and shook my hand and made plesant small take and then went to work. I was in and out in 45 minutes. I actually enjoy going to the dentist because it is such a nice experiance.
They even have coffee and cereal bars in the wait room.

The dentist sat down, made an effort to get to know me, and spent time going over my X-rays with me so that I understood what I was seeing on the TV screen.
