"I've had bad experiences with dentists who seemed more like used car salesomen than doctors. I am relieved to say that I've finally felt a dentist who was a professional, who calmly explained my options and treatment without trying to sell me treatments that I didn't need, and who litsened to me. Dr. Nazarian and her staff were efficient, clear, no-nonsense, and friendly. The last dentist I went to told me that I needed to pay $2000 (as a co-payment). Dr. Nazarian showed me the procedure codes for the work I needed done, which was a fraction of what the other dentist wanted to charge. She was very transparent."

Questions & Answers Q&A

A. You first need to be seen by a dentist to determine the best way for you to fix your crooked teeth. Some of the options may involve braces or a removable appliance. Another way to fix crooked teeth may involve Lumineers or veneers. Your dentist will explain the details and after having all the information, you will be able to decide what is the best treatment for you. The first option takes longer and you will experience some discomfort when teeth start moving. The second option will take about 2 visits and if you are a good candidate for this, you will have your two front teeth straightened within weeks.
A. Foods and beverages such as berries, chocolate, red sauces , coffee, tea and wine stain teeth. However, best way to keep your teeth from staining is good and consistent oral hygiene at home and bleaching. Professional cleanings by the dentist are also very effective and necessary to keep your smile sparkling clean!
A. Most probably your sensitivity is related to having gum recessions or a gum related problem. However, you should have a dental check up as soon as possible for further assessment.

Q: What got you into this specific practice of dentistry?
A: I got interested specifically in dental medicine when I had the opportunity to complete a research project at Harvard Dental School. In the process of my studies, I was exposed to many dentists. Looking back I feel the head of the department made it his mission to make sure I apply to dental schools after sparking my interest in the field of dentistry. By the time I was done with my project, I knew my future was in dentistry. So I... read more

Child brushing teeth | Dentist | Armine Nazarian | Beverly Hills CA

Baby teeth are so cute and little! But when should a dentist see those little things? Baby teeth have lots of different names: milk teeth, baby teeth, and deciduous teeth. The last name is the actual dental definition. Deciduous means “falling off at maturity” or “tending to fall.” It is usually associated with trees, but in this case it’s teeth that are “falling” out, and new permanent ones will take their place. In any case, deciduous teeth need to be... read more
