"It is with gratitude that I tell you that we feel very fortunate to have "found" you. Of all the various dentists we have come across these pat 30 years or so, you are, by far, the very best! You took the time to inform us all our options and to explain every pending procedure, in detail. You encouraged us to ask questions and ensured our understanding and reassurance. Your "chair-side" dentist manners are exceptional. Not surprisingly, the results obtained were very rewarding."

"I may be only one of the few people that can say that I truly enjoy going to the dentist. Since day one, the staff has always been so riendly! Dr. Dhaliwal in the best and nicest dentist I have ever met. He is very friendly and I like the fact that he explains everything that is going on. He always has A+ Staff, and I like the extra things, like the hot face towels, the massaging chair pads and the nice, warm neck pillow. I tell everyone I know what a great practice this is."

"As a teenager, I had braces for three years and expected my teeth to be perfect when I got them off. But I was heartbroken to see a big gap on the left side of my smile. My orthodontist said my dentist could fix it and my dentist said that only my orthodontist could fix it. One dentist even told me I would just have to live with it. No one wanted to help me it seemed. But last year, I became engaged to be married and was horrified to think that I would have a gap in all my wedding photos. I started searching online for cosmetic dentist in my area and found Dr. Dhaliwal's site. At the consultation, he fully explained all my options and took the time to hear my concerns and expectations. He never once told me no, but instead, was very honest about the result he could achieve. I ended up having the Bright Smile and Bonding to fill the gap. I was surprised to see how inexpensive the whole procedure was and how quick it was. Dr. Dhaliwal's calm and genuine personality made me feel so comfortable and his whole staff is just so nice. I am very grateful to Dr. Dhaliwal and his staff for all their help in making me feel my best for my wedding day. I love my smile now and I'm very excited to show it off for years to come. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner."

Did you know that dental offices are able to use 3D printers to help them with many different procedures including implants and molds.  The CEREC System, InVision™ DP 3-D Printer by 3D Systems Corporation and other types of 3D dental printers is a fairly new piece of equipment that has completely transformed the dental world.

At the risk of being accused of shameless self promotion, I would like to add my review of the month. This is from Renee and the service was delivered in my San Ramon office.

Fear of Dentists

Is the thought of going to the dentist a little unnerving? Don't feel bad about it, surveys show that around 75% of the population have some discernable level of fear when thinking of a dentist working on their mouths.

For most, it is a simple point of just pushing through and getting in there and going with whatever procedure you need. Most, if not all, find their fears were unfounded (technology has really made the experience much more pleasant ... I, myself have invested quite... read more

I've been a San Ramon dentist for quite a while and many times I have had patients ask if there was an alternative to braces. What they meant was traditional braces with the full metal mouth. In certain cases, you can correct crooked teeth with an invisible or see through style brace called Invisalign.

Invisalign is just that, a means of adjusting bent or crooked teeth with a clear brace that is minimally visible. It will not work for all cases but is a great alternative for those who really... read more
