"Dr. Desalvo is great! I hurt my back while working at the Oakland Zoo and was in too much pain to go back. My boyfriends Dad Scott Matthews recommended him to me and I am so grateful that he did! I am feeling better than I ever have and am sure when I go back to the zoo in the winter and with proper care that I will be able to do everything I did and more! "I first went to Dr. SeSalvo in early 2010 for chronic back pain. I must admit to being very trepidatious of chiropractors in general at the time. I was impressed that Doug would not even discuss my situation until I had an MRI, which I did. It turned out that I had 3 herniated discs. I than underwent 4 months of spinal decompression treatment. This allowed me to engage in activities that I had previously ceased doing due to pain. Since that time I have periodic "tune-ups.' I highly recommend Doug for his expertise, honesty and integrity. "
