"When I went in for my first visit the staff was great and the amount of information that was given was greatly appreciated. I returned to have a broken tooth repaired. Dr. Albers admitted that I had one of the most difficult crown preps he's seen in many years. I never felt uneasy or not confident in his ability to handle my case with nothing less than the best care. The results were amazing. I feel very pleased that I chose Dr. Albers as my dentist."

"Dr. Morton was very attentive and sensitive to my needs. What I liked beat was that he explained the root canal procedure and what he had done with details as to why he used the approach he did and what he was preventing and augmenting in doing so. His assistant, Julayne is wonderfully understanding, supportive, and friendly, and she helps the patient allay any fears of not being heard. I'd feel very comfortable going back anytime to have my teeth improved upon. Dr. Jay was very helpful, reassuring, informative, and professional. I like the fact that he took his time leaving after dismissing himself, as it gave me time to ask another question that was an afterthought. I'd be very comfortable receiving surgery from him. Dr. Albers is so good at being sure the right person on the team does each portion of my work. He reviews my case with the other doctors on regular occasions and the discussion between them in front of and with me makes me feel that everything is being optimized. I don't think i could get better care. It is worth the drive every time."

"Dr.Albers DDS and Associates were the most friendly people I have ever came across in my 37yrs.I had gone to a previous Dentist Co. and I never went to the dentist after that and that was about 8 yrs ago.Now unfortunately my teeth have suffered in the process and Dr. Albers staff made me feel at home and even though I had to take photos of my mouth they didn't make snide comments behind the partisan or laugh or make me feel uncomfortable even though I had high insecurities and fear that they would judge me. I left after about an hour and a half of consultation and decision making, with a fair and open mind. They let me choose my future with them and all the work that needed to be done. I felt no pressure to spend money I didn't have nor did I feel they were fake. I can't wait to start the work. In fact I scheduled my two kids to get their teeth done and it's been a while for them as well. I will recommend this office 100% as very professional."

"I have a background in medicine, but never have I been in a dental office that was so state of the art! Not only did they text me my reminder, and provide this online community, but they had stunning videos to educate me on specific topics. The staff was incredibly friendly. I was, literally, astounded. This is absolutely a 5 star dental office!!"

Questions & Answers Q&A

A. If the pain lingers a long time after wards maybe the nerve is damaged and a root canal could be indicated. Usually, however, cold sensitivity is from exposed roots that can be treated with a sealant, filling or toothpastes.
A. The latest studies have shown that the bacteria which is responsible for tooth decay and gum disease is the same bacteria that flows through the heart. This bacteria initiates a inflammatory response in the blood vessels that ultimately lead to high blood pressure and artery disease. The bacteria is directly related to hardening of the arteries and damage to the heart valves. Why does this happen? An inflammatory response is your body's way of fighting off infection and keeping it from spreading to the rest of your body. The response gives off a chemical that travels in your blood stream and likes to hook onto your blood vessels and heart. The chemical then irritates these places. Evidence of chronic inflammation in the mouth is the red, tender and swollen gums of periodontal disease. The earliest and easiest stage of periodontal disease to treat is gingivitis. That's why your routine dental check-ups and cleanings are so important - not just for the health of your teeth and gums, but for your general health.
A. Usually not. If the chip or crack extends into the nerve or pulp of the tooth, that is an entry way for bacteria into the blood stream. Chips and cracks represent a structural flaw in the tooth and should always be evaluated.

Teeth can be a very groovy thing...literally! The teeth in the back, the molars, tend to have a lot of grooves in the biting surface. Sometimes they are so narrow that a single toothbrush bristle cannot fit into them to clean them well. If bacteria is left in the grooves, eventually a cavity will form. To prevent this from happening, sealants are placed on the biting surface. Dental sealants consist of a viscous liquid that flows into all the grooves and then cures to a hard plastic, which... read more
